This week was focused on CrossFit athletes that inspire me. I’ve been wanting to paint some of them for so long…so I was really excited to finally get it out on paper. Of course I had to have lightnings in every painting and make them super intense. Enjoy!

This painting was inspired by the legend Rich Froning (@richfroning). I did another painting of Rich about 3 years ago in a very similar pose, but back then I was using oils on large canvases.
I love Brooke Ence and definitely had to include her in this week! I'm also obsessed with Wonder Woman, so when I saw this pic of her on set, I just had to paint it! The reference pic had only a green screen behind her, but I just imagined her in my own style:
